Job search
A standing session that finds postings, tailors your resume to each one, applies only when you approve, and keeps the record. Everything it writes is a plain file in a folder you own.
Start
Attach your resume and say what you are after:
Find me senior backend roles, remote or Charlotte, Java or Python, $170k+, no agencies. Watch stripe, datadog, vercel.jigbee reads the resume into career/resume.md, the master, and writes the search into career/profile.json. “Watch” names the companies whose boards it reads: Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby publish them with no login, so those searches cost no browser steps. LinkedIn, Indeed and company sites go through your own Chrome.
Find, score, tailor
- Look for new postings lists what is new on the boards, scores each against your profile and resume (0–10), drops anything under the floor (6 by default) and shortlists the rest.
- Tailor my resume for the Stripe one writes the resume and cover letter for that posting from the master: reordered, reworded, shortened. Never a new employer, title, date, degree, tool or number. Every line is traced back to the master; a line with no source falls back to the master’s wording or is cut, and you are told. The reply shows the diff and the PDFs.
- Improve my resume rewrites the master itself under the same check, against the previous version. Every version is kept; undo the last change puts it back.
- Prep me for the Stripe interview writes a sheet of likely questions with answers drawn only from your resume.
Apply, with your approval
jigbee fills the form in your Chrome from the profile and the tailored files, asks you once for anything it does not know (and saves the answer), and stops at Submit. The card shows the company, role, which resume, your answers and the page as it stands; nothing is sent until you approve that one application. A daily cap (5 by default) keeps it honest.
Every morning
“Every morning, look for new postings” makes the session a standing job: it finds, scores and tailors at that time while jigbee is open. It never applies on its own. The Applications board in the sidebar shows the funnel and lets you move a row by hand; Datadog said no does the same in words.
